One Month Appointment

Nora had her 1 month doctor's appointment today.  She passed with flying colors.  Her length was 20.75 (50%), and she weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs 15 oz (20%).  She weighed about 5 lbs 9 oz when we left the hospital, so we are thrilled with her weight gain.  She has a little baby acne, but the doctor says it should clear up in the next week or so.  And she still has a little jaundice, but Dr. P thinks it will go away soon as well.  Other than that, Dr. P said she looked great.  She encouraged us to continue working on "tummy time" and to transition Nora to sleeping in her room (instead of ours).  We are doing "crib boot camp" this weekend, so we'll see how that goes.  I'm predicting not well.  The only "eventful" thing to happen at this appointment was that Nora got her second Hep-B shot.  She took it pretty well; she only cried for a few seconds and then settled down.  But it wasn't fun for her parents, which makes me dread her next appointment with its vaccinations.
