This past weekend M and I traveled north to our old stomping grounds - Washington D.C.
We both lived in DC - at separate times - and agree that if we could shed our adult life and move, we would be back in a minute. We had a wonderful (and quick) trip that was just long enough to hit the highlights of our favorite city, but not nearly long enough to get our fill of some of our favorite people. We brunched both mornings, visited Eastern Market, shopped at Georgetown, and had drinks by the river.
Despite lugging our camera around, we captured very few pictures of all this fun. M did manage to grab a few shots at Eastern Market.
Saturday night we went out for sushi with my best friends Mike and EK and Sa and Marc's friend Jason. Only the ladies posed for a quick pic.
Sunday we were back at the airport. I headed home, and M flew the friendly skies all the way to Lubbock. Ahhh, the life of a jetsetter. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to visit again soon. We miss the city - and the friends - so much. This weekend was a (bitter)sweet reminder of just how much.

Fun to see those 2 sweet faces with you. Glad you guys had a fun trip!
