Nora got a clean bill of health. Her iron level was a little low, so we are going to really push the green veggies like spinach (not a favorite). We also got the go-ahead to start feeding her meat, particularly red meat, as well as pasta, rice, cheese, yogurt, and a few other types of table food. [We have to hold off on eggs, honey, whole milk, and fish until she turns 1.] We are working on getting her to feed herself. She loves to eat puffs, yogurt melts, and the like, but she would much prefer to throw them on the ground and then have you feed them (new, clean ones) to her. Clearly she isn't spoiled at all. We are also working on getting her to use a sippy cup, but she also only wants to play with it. She is perfectly content with her bottles (specifically with having you hold her bottles for her).
Dr. P also gave us the go-ahead to let her cry-it-out at night (to get her to sleep through the night). We are traveling this weekend, so I may wait until after we get back to really try to get her to sleep through the night. I anticipate that it is going to be miserable.
We also got her measurements. Her height is 27 inches (25%), and her weight is 16 lbs 5 oz (10%). Her head is still at the 90% (18.25 in). [Although her head does not look abnormally large in comparison to her body to me.] All in all. She's petite but healthy!
A few pictures from the past couple of weeks:
| The easiest way to corral her in the mornings. This no longer works. |
| So happy! |

I can't WAIT to see this cutie!!
